Stochastic Process Modelling for Seizure Localisation and Detection

Roughly one third of people with focal epilepsy do not achieve seizure control with medication. For those patients two interventions remain: surgical resection of the tissue generating the seizures, or an implanted deep brain stimulation device that detects and interrupts them. Both depend on the same underlying problem localising where seizure activity originates, and characterising how it propagates.

Introducing 
NeuronScout™, a neurosurgeon's simulation tool that addresses that problem using stochastic point-process modelling. The model is trained on real EEG data from OpenNeuro datasets.
